Independent Living
Program

CRCC’s Independent Living Program aims to help individuals living in the Austin area to establish a substance free and independent life by providing peer recovery support services, job training and/or placement, life skills development, and sober social-recreational activities.

To achieve these goals, CRCC is partnering with the TEECH Foundation, a Recovery Community Organization that specializes in providing workforce activities and direct employment opportunities for individuals in recovery. TEECH Foundation is offering a 4-week intensive training to help participants obtain employment in hospitals, restaurants and other organizations or to become self-employed if they choose. This training will focus on the following topics.

  • job readiness
  • soft skills
  • resume writing; and
  • environmental services training on using green products.
